Unfortunately, the "tradition" of flooding people with coins is unsustainable. People got to the point where they were acting like if donations were some sort of sure win stock market deal, "you donate once and get thrice what you donated back in two years." The extreme generosity of previous years was a mistake we are paying dearly for with all the rage of entitled people who have some sort of gauge for what they "must" get at a bare minimum. A percentage of what was donated on the current year is the actual fair way to thank people who helped us through that period of time.

Consider this subject over, though. Other threads have just been getting deleted, but since that wouldn't happen to this one, it will be the Forum access that will get removed instead.

Play Grommash, use inner rage on him, 12 damage charge minion (berserker gains +1 attack), attack with death's bite, 4 damage and deal 1 damage to both my minions and his one minion (berserker gains +3)...

So I've just done 24 damage on one turn... Best. Play. Ever.

I had a really nice time with my family last night. Had dinner with my parents, grandmother on my father's side and his sister. We then went to Christmas Eve communion at my grandmother's church. I'm agnostic, but it was a nice service anyways.

Today, I had dinner with my parents and my brother (whom I don't get to see very often anymore), and then we took some dinner and presents over to my grandmother on my mother's side. We had a nice present sharing and a nice visit with each other.

I got a few things for Christmas, not much since I didn't ask for anything. My mother even asked what I wanted, and I told her I'd be happy with just food (dinner with the family), which I was very happy to receive twice.

Both evenings I come home to do a little work here and have to clean up messes made by some individuals who think Christmas is all about getting things, not about kindness and generosity to others for the sake of making their lives just a little bit better. I'm ashamed, honestly. You don't have to believe in Christ or any religion to understand the message of being a better person at least for one day out of the year.

I hate receiving gifts. Don't get me wrong, I love the gifts I did receive but I just hate that people spend their hard earned money on me. But, I guess I'm being a hypocrite since I love giving out gifts.

But I love personal gifts. My girlfriend gave me her diary that she's had for almost 5 years now. This diary has everything her and I have been through together. It has tickets from events that we've been to together. Her art that she created years ago for me. It has our ups and downs. This gift was very cheap, but it's priceless.

I think a lot of people grow out of the whole, "get me what I want or my Christmas is ruined." Some people earlier than others. People will grow out of it once they see that their greediness is hurting the people that gave them gifts. Or when they realize that the gifts they received wasn't easy to get a hold of. My mom worked HARD for the gifts that my brother and I wanted and my dad could never afford anything when I was younger. He would have had to choose between getting us presents or eating/making bills that he was already behind on.

And my brother and I knew that. My mom knew what we wanted but she knew that if she couldn't get it, we'd be happy with whatever she got us. But after I was like 10, I just stopped wanting gifts altogether. Even now, I refuse to tell people what I want because I can now work for what I want. I usually just tell people to write "Merry Christmas" on a sticky note and I'll be happy with that.

So if I don't get a ****ing sticky note from all of you greedy *******s. I will stomp my god damn feet and make a scene. SO HELP ME I WILL STOMP WITH THE POWER OF A THOUSAND EARTHQUAKES.
