how about rated?? you still top dps there?? cause having a hard time keeping up some classes.. even if i spread flameshock as a crazy mentally ill enh... nice target addon bytheway
You don't bring enha to rateds if you aim to play against a highly skilled enemy. You don't spread Flame Shock like a mental person, you break all the CC's. High end rateds are only for elemental shamans.
The addon is platebuffs with Tidyplates.
i was saying mentally ill cause you will break cc.... almost nvr use flameshock.. only vs stealth classes.... i am testing that flameshock glyph atm.. but its kinda mehhhh.... but the discussion was you still outdps other classes whit full endgear?? i reach those score's easy to... but only when my bg is filled whit nibs...
When it comes to outdpsing other full Tyrannical classes, yes. It is very likely you do so if you follow the correct (STRICT) priority rotation for Enhas. If you just spam different abilities, it's going to be hard to challenge anyone for pure damage output.
There's a small video made by Bajheera where he shows the correct opener for Enha's in pvp.
+ Always keep in mind that you are a class that survives best when played extremely offensively, and dont ignore your hit and expertise stats, they are key for shamans.
dont bring enhance to high rated BGs ?:) dear god dude do u have any retail expiriance ?:)
who do u think is most important as target callers support ?:)
There was no enhancement shaman present in the 100 higher brackets of rated teams on retail when WoD was not out yet. Both US and EU servers. The highest rated shaman in rated bg's at the end of retail MoP was an Elemental Shaman called Proccity. I did my research.
First of all if there is not milion of them in highest rate doesnt mean its bad for it. Also elemental is way easier to play so thats why many pick it at start, i also did untill i got bored of it.
And second, thers also no half other classes in top 10 teams but thers alot over 2,4k rate atleast talking about enhance shamans. my highest rate was 2420. mostly around 2,150 and for the last 3-4 months of MoP on retail i was playing ONLY enhance. although i agree most look for elemental couse its easier 2 master the thing that u sead about enhance not viable is just not correct.
You can roll with whatever you please, if there is a team that's willing to take you with them. Elemental is not an easy spec, never state that, its a support spec.
i was comparing elemental to enhance not to other classes/spec. in that case it is easy and imo kinda boring after a while. Also in rateds thers all sorts of comb so i dont really understand ur "willing to take you" comment :) but w/e thats just urs and mine opinion i was just sharing my exp from retail in hope ppl dont just take ur word for it and all roll elemental thinking its the only good way to go as dps shaman choice for high rating.
"Willing to take you" refers to the fact that enha is dps with minor support abilities (Windwalk Totem, Ancestral Guidance during a burst), but elemental brings the same amount of dps to the rated bg as enha + it brings major support (massive offhealing, pushback, Ancestral Guidance heals, Windwalk/Root)
So in short, Ele and Enha have the same dmg. Both have similar survivability although different mechanics. But only Ele can support healers when needed because its a support spec and that is crucial in rateds. Ele staying near healers during the fights is key for the survival of your team. Enha staying in mid inside the fights wont bring much difference to the playing field considering you only get to take 2 melees to the rated (most high rateds were dotcleaves, 3rd melee is guardian) - warrior for the dmg and abilities and a targetcaller Unholy (sadly still broken in Molten).
in every single high rate i did there was 3 melee and 4th was guardian but nvm i c we dont share same exp so gl and have fun just keep in mind u can experiment with BG team setups not just try 2 copy what someone did that made him top 10 :)
idk why do you even argue about this , when arena comes out , people will stop doing rateds well there isnt that much rateds going on anyway , reaching 2k on molten is meh , and pls stop comparing fking private server to the retail , they are not same not in the milion years.
@topic : that might be your setup to not bring enh into rateds or you dont get invited or w/e , mainly me i saw plenty people bringing enhs on "molten" (idgaf about ur retail copy paste tactics) , and with the fail buff stacking system on molten enha is op as sh1t
Rated is still viable in Molten, hopefully even after arenas open. On the fact that Molten players are not retail players - are retail players non-humans? Skill can be found anywhere, and that's a fact.
I stay true to my point that I made earlier about Shamans being more helpful in rateds as a support class and not a blatant all-out melee dps.
