Pandaria Survival hunter in MOP !

is survival spec viable in pve i saw a few survival in raid doing 200k+ dps but when i tried myself oon a dummy i cud only pull off 130-140k & that too in burst normally it stays at 120k is it ok or im doing something wrng in 510 ilvl with t15 & grevious trinkets

DPS on a dummie is always gonna be lower, it is cause you dont get all the raid buffs you get while in a raid.

Did not do much PvE on MoP yet so really dont know if SV is viable atm.

Ofc it's viable, you just have to mash buttons more than others. However something is very wrong with either SV or other two because SV is supposed to be top hunter spec for PvE (in top 3 dps from all classes and specs) and here it's not.

One big problem where we lose tons of AoE is traps. They will always explode, glyphed or non-glyphed causing mayhem and it's very awkward to use them in raids.

I saw some people mentioning mastery as broken... As I'm way to lazy to test anything it would be great to get some input on this matter from someone who knows more. Cause if mastery is indeed broken then that would pretty much mean SV gets the 15-20% less damage from the start.

One more thing; words 'SV' and 'burst' don't belong in same sentence, unless there's a big 'hell no' in between.
