Nah. There's a lot of unintelligent people on retail too. People's general demeanor and behavior is what makes the real difference, IMO.

For example, on retail, I don't have to worry about standing in Stormwind and getting spit on by random-*** people because of my spec or gear. There also aren't people who try to tell me how to play my class/spec when they don't have a clue what they're talking about.
