Sargeras merge to Frostwolf & FAQ

Hello, since Sargeras is now merging to Frostwolf, we be expecting a very large queue that will be over 1,000+ queue. There might be non-donors complaining about queue and there might be people that prefer alot of activity due to the population of Frostwolf.

Any opinions/thoughts about this?

FAQ:

1- What is merging exactly?

Merging means leaving the realm behind and move to another realm. Sargeras will be wiped and deleted after the merge.

2- Will Frostwolf become one big realm?

Yes. Because Sargeras is dying and lowering the population every month and most people prefer realms with alot of activity, etc. that is why Sargeras is dying due to people moving to frostwolf/other realms per week or so.

3- Will characters be deleted or there will be transfered there?

Characters won't be deleted unless you do not tranfer it then your character will be wiped along with Sargeras realm. There will be a transfer after the announcement.

4- If they will be transfered, will it be free or do we need to spend our vote points or coins?

It will be completly free, it does not require vote points or coins. Warmane wouldn't charge you for it cuz they care about their customers and prefer not to lose them.

5- Will items, gears, pets/hunter pets, mounts, gold, titles, Justice/Honor/Conquest points, guilds, Arena rating and progressed/completed achievements will be transfered along with you?

Yes everything will be transfered even gold will be transfered 100% except your arena rating and your guild and friendlist/ignorelist will be wiped. Mails, items in the Auction House, bids in the Black Market won't be transfered along with you. Please be careful

And this questions and answers... who made you staff? how do you know all this stuff?

For example gold transfer,
do you know Staff are the ones setting this up? they can set it up so you can transfer millions if they like.
Many ppl have at least 5 lvl 90 characters, just send 50k to each of them you get 250k transfered, you dont have to go black market and spend that gold.

And its not a transfer its a merge, your 1st question and answer.

Did not said it will happen, thats why i said it is not confirmed yet. These questions didnt came out from me, came from a person in forums that asked me this. Yesterday on twitch I asked the GM about the transfer and stuff and they replied that everything will be merged with you. And when i asked this, they never said that the merge will never happen, they actually replied to me as if there is actually gonna be a merge. I been through a merge on the year 2012 and we merged to sargeras (cata realm).

There should always be a free realm transfer that only unlocks for sargeras only only when a merge is gonna happen.

btw there is a rumor that the merge will happen in like 2 months, not saying i believe the rumor but thats what i heard and thats why i never added this info in this thread yet.

These FAQs are just INCASE a merge will happen. Thought would be nice to know things about merging even if it does not happen.

Before the moltdown the population limit was set at 3500 to 4000 and both realms added would go beyond that. I am not speaking for the staff here but with all of the complaints so far I would hazard an assumption that Warmane would not want to add more complaints unless they had everything they needed to make sure this issue was null and void if they decided to do such a thing. Also, there is a distinctive difference between the two realms that would clash a bit. For one, Frostwolf leans more towards PvP players as Sargeras leans more PvE players. Though this may be less of a talking point in many areas it may effect others in their gameplay. Do not know where this idea to bring this up came from but if Warmane staff are going to do this it would have been officially stated so I ask that you post where this info is at Pixiekins. I highly doubt Warmane is going to do this but will keep enough of an open mind to see if it is true.

i know, i doubt so too but since they are discussing it i thought it would be nice if we discuss about this too by showing our opinions and thoughts about it. Though, i agree with you, but then again Sargeras is dying slowly which people are not liking it, Warmane tried to put a transfer from frostwolf to sargeras but its not working quite good.

I dont mind the low population of Sargeras. When it comes to late nights when most ppl goes to sleep, Sargeras gets even worst, i bare find more than 10 ppl in sw/org and its kinda ugly. Peak times? its nothing the same as frostwolf, i compared with sargeras and frostwolf but i see a LOAD of ppl in sw/org than the one in sargeras. The bg queues are becoming crazy.

I know we will experience instability which this is the reason why this is so hard to decide if there will be a merge or not. though i have an idea, why not make sargeras a AT realm? it will keep a balance on frostwolf and sargeras, i mean AT realms are meant for low population at peak times and non-peak times. And for those who prefer a lvling realm shall give us a limit to transfer to frostwolf before they convert it to a AT realm. Though i dont think they will make this happen but im just sharing my idea here.

i c FW ppl responding only and also talking from their realm point of view or their own. Check Thread MoP realm future for more info. ppl on FW arent aware of this couse they dont know the situation on Sargeras. about specifics Staff will decide but there should for sure be done something like this if not merge then transfers available from Sargeras to FW atleast with 100 VP like it was other way around recently.
also Kapri if u think FW is more pvp then Sargeras ....just LOL...u have no clue apparantly u havent spend a day on Sargeras atleast not while realm was still "allive" pvp on FW is a joke and thers 1 single pvp guild on whole realm while Sargeras had atleast 4 better or the same quality before whole realm started falling apart.
and also i dont see the point of opening another Thread about this when there is 1 open allready about this problem by Rufus "MoP realms future"

They would be stupid not to merge. The ones I know of who have left Sargeras for Frostwolf say they wish they would of transitioned a while ago.

Do you presume that it may have to coinside with the WoD PTR that they have spoken of? I know that the staff have commented that they are still in the alpha/beta stages of it but could it be possible that they may reinvent Sargeras as that?

Hmm good thinking. I dont know Sargeras converting to a AT realm was just my idea im sharing, it doesnt mean its actually true.

Having login queue again for non-contributors will alleviate this issue. Those who are upset about it but can't donate the very little that is required to skip can just deal with it.
