Pandaria Ele shaman 2v2 comp

Hi there, i'm a 501 ilvl pvp elemental shaman and i stepped into 2v2 arena just a week ago with a friend of mine (mm hunter) but it was hard as hell capping conquest points. I read some guides on ele shammy and it seems to shine in 3v3, but i feel like i'm too low ilvl to join the bracket yet. I also read that a good team in 2v2 is with boomkin, mage (better frost than fire) and destro warlock. Can you guys confirm it? is there some more experienced ele shaman who can give me some advice? Thanks :)

I used to play fire/ele for fun. It has some fun moments if you burst together :)

On a side note, all those compositions you mentioned can work very well, but are very burst reliant.

I would even consider trying ele/affliction, with the ele just healing/defending, and bursting after the affli has setup on the opponent.

yes all that u heard is correct BUT atm frost mage is not working as it should here so avoid that . Boomkin is prolly the best option since rarely who plays it and usually the ones that do know how 2 play it well. Destro lock is also a good option but since lock is a faceroll in this expansion its harder 2 find a decent partner .
my sugestion is get a Boomy partner and enjoy. its gona be hard only once u get over 2k and deal with MILION wars lolstorming in almost every arena u join :) untill then atleast for the cap sake it should be lots of fun.
