Cloud Serpent Riding skill

Anything new with the riding skill? Is it fixed?
I've been waiting for so long to ride these god damned adorable dragons. ;w;

The Cloud Serpent dragons can be mounted if you in water, then you can use them but only on ground at the moment

Hey, I wanted to check this thread out since i opened it, the people you see flying them, including myself have all gotten it through in-game tickets to GMs, however since the info has been shared now the GMs dont help players complete the quest line anymore.

edit: the previous guy is right come to Frostwolf, Sargeras is closing.

If they did it for a select few people .. then they should fix the damn quest or put it up on the quartermaster for sale

Please stop speaking bull**** that some ppl got skill from GMs which is false. GM doesn't have that kind of power. You can ride serpent when you summon it in water.

It's about flying it .. not riding
You cannot fly it, even if you mount it in water
Get your facts straight and read the whole thread
People already said that they were helped by GM's

I did transfer to the other realm, but I wanted to post on this thread because it seemed more recent and more likely to get answers. I know you can mount it in the water but it's not as satisfying as just flying it. And it's true, I've seen players flying it too. And it wasn't the Heart of The Aspects one, it was just a regular ol' Azure Cloud Serpent. When I asked the guy how he got it he just pointed me to some quest where you have to kill some dragon npc [ I forgot the name of it, since that was like 2 or more months ago] but there you just get a mount...not the actual riding skill...so ???
I also tried to talk to GMs but they redirected me to their bug tracking site.

I can come flying on a serpent in front of you anywhere you want.
It went like this:
I submitted a ticket, and a GM told me to go to Arboretum if I'm exalted with order of the cloud serpent.
I told him that the [They grow like weeds] quest is bugged, along with the rest of the quest chain, and whenever I picked a quest up, a Complete Quest button would show up on my screen like the one in some quests in Pandaria.
That way he helped me complete the quest chain which rewards you with the Serpent riding skill towards the end.

From what I know since, 2-3 people that have asked me how I fly it in-game have gotten it with the help of a GM as well, but since it started spreading a couple of months ago, all GMs nowadays refuse to help like that and point to the bugtracker.

The GM didn't magically type some magic command to my character, he just somehow used a complete quest popup command on my character and that's how I got it, so don't say it's impossible. Now the fact that they don't do it anymore, shows that it can be done that way but since this knowledge has spread so much, a GM can't possibly sit all day in Arboretum and complete quests for thousands of players, hence the bugtracker redirection. I had said in a different thread for the Sargeras forum that if I found out how to get the skill I wouldn't be selfish and keep it for myself, but since everyone wanted to know now nobody gets it. Makes sense.

As far as I know, I'm the only one in the whole server that is willing to tell you the truth, since everybody else wants to feel special by flying a mount the others can't fly, so you're welcome.

So unfortunately, the only way to fly the damn thing nowadays is to just wait until the whole quest chain has been fixed.

wont be that soon tbh, the first quest is fixed but not the chain apparently.. they keep forgetting to put the quests on auto complete for now until the "fully script" part works for them..

It would be a shame to be on autocomplete. Chain quest was awesome on retail. Better to fix whole quest so everyone can enjoy it. Just upvote bugged quest on bugtracker and they might fix it on next update. Hope so.

yeah.. but we're playing on a private server no script will be ever 100% perfect don't forget that. I'd rather have it auto complete than waiting several weeks/months to have a fix on this..
