Hi, can someone tell me which spec has an easier time creating burst. For example taking down healers because I know it can be semi difficult as a hunter. Which hits harder with their burst?

Both MM and BM are doing great in terms of dealing damage and both are fairly easy to play, however they have completely different playstyles.
BM does more spike damage in the form of Kill Command and obviously will do more pet damage than MM so if you don't like being dependent on your pet for damage don't roll BM. Also BM has more reliable focus regeneration than MM.
MM has better controlled burst, 3 minute rapid fire, and less dependency on pets however its only downside is being focus starved most of the time.
Both are just great.

Thats it, nice to see a good reply and not the usual trash that people use to answer this question.
Personally speaking i used to hate BM, but when they nerfed the focus regen i began to hate the MM starvation more, and now i just play BM.
"For example taking down healers"
Hunters do not take down healers. Not alone.(In cataclysm, that is)
Beast Mastery will deal more damage than marksman overall, but will lose some crowd control abilities.
Marksman will deal more damage than beast mastery, but only within its burst. Outside of your burst you will be shooting noodles.
In general, players will go for Marskman for arenas(More control overall, and easier to execute your burst), and will pick beast mastery for other forms of pvp since beast mastery gives you more tools to survive alone(Can attack at distance with pet, passive heal and spirit beast healing, easier focus regeneration..)
You can do fine with BM on arena, people say MM is better because they like it more, dosent mean BM is bad. I do arena only for cap weekly and i get 90% win ratio with random people.
Beast mastery is fine for capping, however if he wants to go for rank/rating for some reasons then he'll be forced to go marksman(Arena is the only place where marksman is a necessity).
-The reason that bm is lacking in arenas is that the damage comes from the pet, and unfortunately, pets require movement. Many classes such as mage(using frost nova), warlock(melee fear), druid(the root when damaged thing), priest(melee fear again) and many of the movement abilities(such as charge) will temporally negate your dps even if it wasn't the opponent intentions.
Of course, you could take the mend pet talent to counter that, but that's just the first reason.
-Another reason is that your main burst ability also happens to be one of your biggest defensive as beast mastery : Bestial Wrath
Only in rare occasions you will need to both burst and get out of cc at the same time, which puts the "double trinket" niche into void;
-Also, beast mastery hunters are kind of "forced" to pick an exotic beast. Now the problem itself isn't that you have to pick an exotic beast. No, the problem is that the two most useful spells(spirit mend and web wrap) come from the ferocity and tenacity trees respectively. If you go for a spirit beast, you lack the roar of sacrifice ability, a very good defensive, and if you pick a shale spider, you lack the damage whereas a cunning pet would be inbetween the two;
-One last reason, no silencing shot!no readiness! and potentially no pet cc!
These are a few reasons why beast mastery is not too well for arenas(and the arena charts support the fact that marksman is going to get higher rating)
Outside arenas, beast mastery is very powerful(more than marksman in most cases). It gives you more tools to survive by yourself(Heals, double trinket, Bigger constant dps and easier focus regeneration, crounching chimera..)

+ ranged cc / masters call / roar of sac /
how come despite all of these things 99.9999999 bms suck 30 dicks per minute?
First most bms use spitit beast that is bad. Ros can save u much more hp. Most of them roll bm because they can pawn noobs with high dmg but to face half decent enemies a bm must know how to play.
And actually mm is more defensive than bm.
Dont be happy to pawn this bms. Every faceroll class have tons of noobs. Find the good ones if u wanna some challenge.
just my xp:
hunters don't take down healers... never ;)
(assume: approx same gear, same skill, enuff hp at start of fight, 1on1...)
i liked to play bm with 1-3 spirit pets and bm was slightly easier to "master" (just my impression) ... i liked to play rbg as bm... i didn't like to do arena ratings with bm...
i loved to play mm: both bg and arena
why?
nice balanced cc, burst 4 survivability and attacking
especially in bg:
that mass cc: throw the trap in the crowd :D and another one and readiness and another one and another one
in beetween: multishotslow ...
Hey bud. I think BM is only more defensive than MM if you consider attack the best defense, and it may be true sometimes.
But MM also heals, it needs focus for chimera but it heals more than Spirit Bond. So even if Spirit Bond heals a bit more over time, it won't be nothing compared to the fact that MM has readiness. Be able to reset cooldown of all your defensive skills in 1 sec is really incomparable because BM and MM have same defensive skills. Also the fact that most of the pvp is of fast duration of time also makes readiness op.
MM can use 3x Ros and 3x pet skills in any situation that he haves readiness too, while BM can use only 2. Spirit Mend from the pets sucks compared to RoS too. Crouching tiger also will not be useful most fo the times, unless in long arena matches. Is not useful if you cant survive.
This is also how i feel playing, i feel like with BM im way more a easy target if i cant kill the enemy fast enough (skilled ppl ofc:D).
But hey just saying my point, you are my buddy gave me some great macros.
