The TSA has been proven time and time again that it useless but we still fund it. My mom always visits Lithuania every year and she always smuggles back meat, cheese and over the counter drugs that you would need a prescription for here. My friends dad has smuggled knives multiple times (by accident, he honestly forgets about them). But that 2 ounce bottle of shampoo? **** is your issue? ARE YOU ****ING TRYING TO CAUSE ANOTHER 9/11?
Don't forget that toothbrush, dangerous weapon right there, I might try to take over plane with it.
Yeah, unlimited refills for your bucket too. I remember getting so upset when I was in London and I ordered a "large" drink and I got a medium instead because that is their large. AND NO FREE REFILLS. Rustled my ****ing jimmies.
LOL, you should have seen my face when Alli told me I can get free refills, like wtf who pays for all of that ****? In EU they are all cheap bastards, they would look at you as if you got some weird disease if you ask for a free refill.
Yeah, I definitely need free refills because I drink like a race horse :(. Also, another thing I noticed about Europe (specifically Lithuania and France). You can't really talk to people in public. Small talk just doesn't exist. And I heard it's worse in Germany. When I'm standing in line for something, I always small talk with the people around me. I enjoy talking to people D:

Yes, this is especially true. Here everyone minds their own business and if you try to talk to someone they just look at you as if you're a weirdo. Still, the younger generation up to 25'ish are better than this and won't act like *******s. Still smalltalk doesn't really exist.

I can't really confirm the small talk thing, since I'm really open. People usually engage in a conversation with you, as long as you initiate it. The only country which I know of that has a bad reputation for small talk is the UK. I heard he brits are really rude, but I have never been there so I can't really confirm it.
Oh and fyi, typing on an american keyboard compared to a german one is soooo cancerous.
I was in customs for like 2 hours because 3 planes landed at the same time. But I think I managed to pass their test when they asked me if i was or plan to be involved in any terrorist attacks on the USA, and I answered with no. They also wanted to know if i'm bringing any slugs....
While we are on the topic of the US. Holy ****, everything here tastes like ****ing sugar. And those european crossaints so don't taste like ****ing european croissants. And I took a medium cup sprite, but received a bucket instead. Not even joking, medium in the US is larger then the large size (possibly even extra large) in EU.
Yeah, it's things like that, in addition to nasty/greasy food that keeps me from eating out much. It's sooooo much better to buy ingredients at the store and then put it together at home.
I mean, we're not necessarily rude, but if you walk up to a stranger and start a conversation, chances are you'll get looked at like you're either drunk or mentally ill
