    Problem with downloading client (MAC)

    Greeting guys,

So I just finished downloading the mac client from this website, but when i try to open WoW it says: The application “World of Warcraft” can’t be opened.

Any suggestions how to fix this? I haven't been doing anything with it at all.
    Thanks for the help.

  4. Same problem here! Please help!

I'm using OSX 10.10.3 and Wraith of the Lich King client.

  5. You need to let your mac know to run WoW as a program.
To do this, open up Terminal (in Applications/Utilities) and type "cd " (with the space at the end, no quotes) and drag the WoW .app into the window. You'll see the location show up after the cd command.
    Hit enter.
Now you're in the Directory that your Mac saw as an App.
Now type "cd Contents/MacOS/" and hit ENTER.

Now type "chmod +x World\ of\ Warcraft" and hit ENTER.

Exit out of everything and go to your Wow folder in Finder.
Right-click (or control-click) the Wow icon and select "Show Package Contents". Under the MacOS folder that you see, you'll see the actual executable you changed.
Drag that to the dock and use it to start.
