Technical Differences in latencies

Hello.
I have an issue with high latency in game. I am getting 500 - 3k ms (frequently fluctuating in between these values) in game, while I get around 150-300ms when I manually ping server from Cmd prompt. 150-300 ms was my normal latency before this issue so I know I can't get anything better than this. But still compared to the high latency I am facing now, 150ms would be heaven xD

Both ping and traceroute give (my) normal latencies while simultaneously there's huge lag in game.
I play both on Neltharion and Frostwolf and the issue persists for both.
Tried my latency in another private server I used to play on (with same Cata client) and there's no lag there, and so not my Clients' fault.
Please help solve this issue. :|

When did the issue start?

I know some had issues with latencies after the new host or something.. They helped the latency drop back to normal with programs like PingZapper.. Its probably something to do with how your ISP connects to the ISP of the host.. Think you can try one of those programs and see if it drops back to normal. They probably have a trial or evaluation period for free :)
And since the problem persists on both clients it must be a problem with the connection to the host.
Since you did a cmd ping and it was normal, it might have something to do with the handling of different packages.. Sizes, format and stuff..

Im not an expert nor correct.. Only suggestions that could solve the problem.
