Will the characters be deleted?

Hello,im curently leveling on Lordaeron and I have just a simple question.Will all the characters be deleted after the public testing is over?(maybe its an obvious question but sorry for that)

on ptr realm, rather than just the initial first message...which is pretty much gone after you log in so you may or may not even catch it------- warmane should just insert the greeting message as a timed message, set for every 10mns that leaves no question that folks are gonna lose their work. Also think about word choice. I had someone 3 days ago wisp me and ask, "hey sorry bug you english not great, what do wipe mean?" :PP true story
