Ran 2 disc priests for a while back in WOTLK with a buddy that needed to gear up his alt. We got to 1900 or so, but DAMN it was a time sink. Games took forever and it was just as annoying to play it as it was for them to try to kill us. I was disc/shadow to mindflay, he was disc/holy
Also wanted to try insect swarm resto druide + disc priest on Blackrock but sadly its impossible to queue 2s as double healer because of Blackrocks stupid custom changes.
So in the end we had to use a 37/00/34 spec for the druide with swiftmend+Moonkin form. It worked decent but i think a 21/00/50 spec would be much better.
The setup is quite good against double dps because they cant kill double healer in the opener and then they usually die slowly from the dots.
I was also impressed how good this setup works against healer+dps. 3 times cyclone + fear on the healer is actually enough time to kill the dps in the mean time with dots and heavy holy fire, smite and wrath spam.
