1. Was bullied earlier on Warsong. How in the world is this okay?

I simply asked why there was a Starter PVE Vendor and a Starter PVP Vendor earlier and then got bullied and attacked to the point where I lost my control in global and told them to come fight me in real life.

I don't even know what to do. People say for me to grow a thick skin, but it still hurts.

  2. That's some thin skin you've got there.

  3. That's some real tumblr-level sensitivity... I don't support bullies, but telling someone to fight you IRL? There is clearly an over-reaction issue, as well as the root cause: trolls. Trolls aren't bad in themselves, until someone takes them serious. They do stupid and funny stuff just to get a reaction out of you. Telling them to come fight you? Well, my friend, read the sign:

  4. If someone loses control and starts bullying and swearing on you, you can report them to GM.

It sucks to live in a patriarchy, right????????????????? men r pigs!

  6. Instead of responding to the 'bullies', don't give them any attention at all. Thatll make them stop, some might even realise how ****ing stupid they are for being a ****.

  7. If someone loses control and starts bullying and swearing on you, you can report them to GM.
Or they can simply use the ignore option, considering that's the answer they'd get (unless it's actual harassment and/or doxxing). And since it's Warsong, it's a good idea to get that /ignore going.
And OP, don't feed the trolls, learn to not pay any attention to such individuals.

  8. While the ignore option does exist it doesn't eliminate the problem that is toxic people in communities. However, this is the internet and that means there are very few consequences for harassing someone online. My best advice? Don't give people attention - no one shouts at a wall for too long.

  9. You just have to shake, shake, shake, shake, shake

Can we take a break from Taylor Swift? She's in the news 24/7, and now you're bringing her into this sanctuary, cmon...

I completely understand. I've been there and you just need to find your own way in dealing with people.

There have been a lot of times when players' rudeness just depresses me, sometimes on a personal level. Lately, I've developed my way in sensing someone's energy. If you feel these trolls are just out there to stroke their egos, might as well ignore them. But here's the catch: ignoring won't solve problems in the community. Lately, I've been trying to understand some trolls and scammers by talking to them in some capacity. There's this notorious troll in Deathwing Horde-side who I won't name that I befriended just yesterday. He really seem like a despicable person, publicly calling out and harassing players. But I saw him differently and after chatting for 30 minutes, we came into terms. I realized that people are just different and we need to accept and tolerate them you are seeking for peace.

The point is that it's you who are making yourself miserable. Always find a way to turn things around.

  13. If it makes you feel better, two weeks ago, a guild urged me to leave Ruby Sanctum raid for not having Raid Call and for wiping at Halion even though it was my first time in RS.

Looking back, I'm glad that I left because if I have stayed, the guild might proceed to one-up me, making things stressful for everybody. See, where I'm coming?

Pay attention to your emotions first before you spread it.

  14. I don't even know what to do

Oh, lord, that reminds me of that one guy in out guild... There's nothing worse than talking to someone for several minutes, expaining the entire boss fight only to realize that he's not even logged on RC/TS xD
TFW when the raid leader screams "Billy, Combustion on you, run to the wall! OMG WTF, BILLY?! MOVE! is he even on team speak?! fdasdfasfd!!!"...
