I got my first pay today, damn, all this work for this 4 pieces of paper, something is fuxed up. (That's 144 work hours for 100$)

I don't like being around much people, especially large numbers of people. I also have no desire to involve more than just a few people in my relationship. It also costs a lot of money to have a large and fancy ceremony, and I'm not too fond of being fancy or getting super dressed up unless I'm really in the mood for it. So, if I ever get married, it will probably be a private ceremony without some huge and gaudy dress. I also hope that I never have to attend someone else's wedding, and if they do invite me and get offended when I don't show up; oh well, guess they didn't know me well enough.

I think people get upset because this is one of the biggest moments of their life and they would like to share it with you. I'd be a little upset if one of my good friends or family members didn't show up because they simply didn't want to. Ideally, I'd only ever want one wedding and I would like to have all of my friends and family there. But if they couldn't show up due to financial reasons, fair enough. Weddings are expensive and I completely understand that. And I'd even understand if they couldn't make it because of **** they have to do.

But simply not wanting to would kind of piss me off lol.

I think I've pretty well explained why I don't like them. I've had them described to me. I've seen them on television. I've been to similar "rituals" (such as a vow renewal). I think I have plenty basis for wanting to avoid them. It's fine if you disagree with me, or if whether or not you think my reasons are any sort of valid, because it doesn't really matter. If you wanted me to go to your wedding or something, I'm sorry.

Lol I wouldn't invite anyone unless if they were a close friend or family member. If I was getting married next year, a good portion of my family wouldn't be invited because I barely know them.
