Your topic is not descriptive, but I'm guessing you're referring to openwow source code release for private server communities to use. You misunderstood the post if so. There was a time when openwow was endangered and certain individuals wanted to hijack it and redirect it to a private server. If such a scenario would happen, its source code would have been released to public for others to continue in order to make sure that the immensely useful database site that it is remains functional. However, openwow was defended and is safe being a database site for unsupported expansions and it functions independently and peacefully as it always did.
