Recently Internet admin of the building blocked a bunch of IPs including torrents and connections to outgoing programs (blizz servers, warmane, etc.). I contacted one of the IT guy and he said he could create exceptions. So uhm what Im asking is what should I answer him if I want to create an exception to warmane LK and Cata servers? just Login.warmane.com?

Warmane login server: 52.26.2.54
From then on you dont need your dns/firewall. Since its just a passthrough..

Thx Kemii, I pinged Logon.warmane.com a few times and got a second IP: 54.168.213.196. This and the one you gave me are the 2 that showed up
Also my internet is managed by system admin and he said I need the ports also :C But thanks anyways

Back on Softlayer we had a static IP for the login server.
The new host appears to not do this :?

I've actually encountered this problem since I've switched a modem, simply every once in a while say, 1 hour or 2 it blocks me from entering the game or logging in I should say, but it also lets me play. I believe its an IP problem because I've checked everything and I know my **** about computers.
