1. Funny how you conveniently overlook Kemii's post where she mentions a case where something was by the trash by accident. But I guess in your perfectly justifiable world people never put stuff in the trash without realizing there was a coupon or the like inside, yes?

I'm not sure why you'd talk like you're ashamed of going through his trash. You should feel at home.

  2. Racism yay ! Who doesn't like a bit of racism with all that salt.

You know, it's quite ironic how you judge me of "stealing" someone's thrash and yet you justify this server's existence by categorizing the client as "abandonware". Is it not the same thing ?
I am done with this conversation. Go in your moral world and ride your moral ponies while you deal judgement to unworthy thieving Romanians.

  3. First time I heard that "trash" or "thief" are a race. Living and learning.

There's nothing ironic about that, simply you doing the old routine of trying to find a flaw in something else, as if that made your own character vacuum be acceptable. Blizzard is perfectly aware we exist - i.e., the "crazies" are informed that we went through their trash. They don't support the versions we do anymore, and their care is focused on what they have online not getting competition from private servers.

  4. "I'm not sure why you'd talk like you're ashamed of going through his trash. You should feel at home."

    Hint
    Spoiler: Show

  5. That wasn't at all what I meant.
Maybe saying you'd feel "like if among family" would express it better?

  6. You're manage to be worse than the girl a few months ago.
    JesyMynce?

  7. No, can't remember her nickname. One that tried to justify being a thief as well, by keeping the extra money if a cashier gives you the wrong change. Her rationalization was that "it was a big company so they wouldn't miss it" or something alike to that. I believe I labeled her "scum."

    The world lacks morality.
Cashier gives you the wrong change, tell them.
As someone who works on a till it's horrible when you realise later on that your cash is down and you get a warning over the discrepancy.
I am dyslexic and the amount of times its happened to me, and the tickets I've had written up against me for my till being wrong is unreal. But most customers have told me if I give them wrong change... Mostly I short change them but still.

  9. It's not that it's such a bad deed and you're going to hell. It's the fact that you know it's not the right thing (as in you should have told your colleague because chances are he didn't want to throw it away) but you still try to convince us that you dindu nuffin, when in fact you stole. Guys, stealing is not all about being a charismatic master thief dressed in black that breaks into top security banks, y'know?
It's like seeing a wallet falling from someone's pocket and instead of letting them know, you just take the wallet.

  10. There is no end to this and whatever I say is neglected/countered with some more magical moral bull****.

I earn 1.5$/hour, he earns 7$/hour, on a monthly scale, I earn ~270$, he earns ~1260$ (almost 5 times more). Do you REALLY (like deep inside your hearth) think he cares about some ****ing 50$ game keys, which turned out to mostly be **** anyway ? (the 200$ value was mostly made up by Intel, it's more like 40$ worth of ****).

Stealing also isn't only about picking up something that isn't yours, no-one cries injustice that I work full-time for such a lousy sum.

And you know what? In the end, I'd do it again anytime. If you're stupid enough to throw away something before taking a proper look at it, it's your own damn fault. I'm not the tooth-fairy, I'm a 20 year old broke ****, in your magical moral world are you going to hang me for salvaging a card with game codes? If the answer is yes, good, **** you then.

    The irony is strong.

    Thats your ****ty country's economy.

I work in the UK for a measly $11 an hour. Which gets me very little. I'd honestly have to work 40+ hours a week to afford to live independently on this wage.
And god knows how much to run a car on top of that.

Using that to justify your point is null. I earn jack **** but I would still have the decency to go to my boss, "Hey I found this lying next to trash, mind if I keep it?" if he asks why you were looking in the trash just be honest and say Curiosity. No-one is going to think you're a weirdo. I mean I know loads of people who check packets of cigarettes they find to see if there is any still in there.. (I did at work the other day, found 9 in a packet.. Split them with my co-worker).

  13. He isn't a big company. I did not cause him any losses as it was a bonus, not what he paid for.

Are you 12 ? Honest question, how old are you ? What keeps your fires burning ? Is being a smartass really your only purpose in life ?

(I did at work the other day, found 9 in a packet.. Split them with my co-worker).
Why didn't you seek the owner of the pack and inform them they lost their 9 cigs? Works both ways.

  14. i can't believe this argument has been going on like all day, drop those axes damnit, what's done is done. now, let's have a listen to this song

not gonna lie man, it's damn cheesy

It doesn't matters if you caused him harm or not. Honesty isn't relative to how much "harm" you'll cause. And even if you wanted to go that way, how do you know you didn't cause him harm? For all you know he didn't even realize that coupon was there. If he did, he might have given it to a nephew or whatever. The fact is even if he wanted it to tear it to pieces, it was his right to do it, not yours to take, unless you knew beyond doubt that he had no interest whatsoever in it because he told you so.

You took something that didn't belong to you and have been trying to rationalize and justify it in various ways for hours.

How exactly is my age relevant? I could be 10, and right now be more a man than you're showing to be. I keep my own fire burning. No, I have others - like exposing people devoid of moral compass, who point fingers in every direction to find someone or something to blame, except for themselves.
