Technical MPQ files

Hello,

First of all, my english not the best, i'll try to be clear as possible.

I'm having some problems with mpq files.
A few months ago i opened by mistake one of them with note pad.
The note pad is now set as the default "software" to open all the mpq files.
Wich mean even if i try to replace them with a mpq file coming from internet, the computer open them with note pad.
As a result, the mpq files are not worling properly.

I tried to reedit the mpq files (with MPQeditor) but i don't really know how to make it work, even after watching tutorial.
I also tried to use regedit.exe and remove the default configuration (note pad) but it didn't worked either. (maybe i did something wrong or missed something)

If someone has any solution or anything to try to fix it i would be grateful.

They do not stop working from that. They will only stop working if you edited them. Default programs have nothing to do with how WoW reads its files.
