[Cata] Faction Tabards

Hello! I'm sort of new to cata and I was wondering if the faction(Stormwind/Orgrimmar, Ironforge/Darkspear Trolls etc) tabards work.

If so, how do they work? When do they give me reputation toward the city-tabard that i have equipped?

Do they give me reputation on doing random heroics? I noticed that they don't when u do normal 85 dungeons.

Any help is appreciated.

from past experience those tabards work on most low level instances where rep can be gotten from mobs, but not cata normals or random hour of twilight

I tested this and they do work with the exception of Huojin. The dungeons that provide rep while having the tabard equipped are: Ahn'kahet: The Old Kingdom, The Nexus, Halls of Lightning, and Utgarde Keep.

I'm on Neltharion, and I think all tabard work but only in Dungeon HC and not all.... in Deepholme and Hoo they should work....maybe even Throne of the Tides....don't remember.... just equip the tabard when you enter a dungeon hc and you'll see :)
