1. Ban

My account has been suspended for 1 week due to Sentinel anti-cheat but for real? i was somehow stucked in Dalaran and wasnt able to move, as long as i remember i was at cooking trainer, i left the game and when i came back i was suspended, after short time i visited my other account and bump insta suspend, what was that about? 1 week isnt long time to wait but i wanna play and the suspend was for no reason.... id like to know if there is possibility to get unsuspended soon.

  2. Sentinel detects potentially malicious programs which directly effect your Wow.exe. ATI tray tools seem to be the cause, typically, for situations such as yours.

Unfortunately, Sentinel bans cannot be overturned but I think you can use coins and maybe points to lessen the duration. Otherwise, you'll have to wait out the remainder of your time.

Edit: and correct the issue that is causing sentinel to flag you or you'll just be banned again once this ban expires.

  3. According to Edifice, ATI Tray Tools hasn't triggered Sentinel for ages, even when we were still called Molten.

  4. There use to be a thread detailing what could and would trigger Sentinel to flag someone, but I'm not sure if it's been deleted or it's just evading me.

  5. so bassicly now i need to wait 10 days because of stupid virus i ''have'' in my computer? well i think a lot of people will agree with me, that anti cheat need to be fixed .....

  6. -_- , why do you have that "stupid virus" on your computer on the first place. And why would the anti-cheat needs to be fixed?

  7. as u can see ''virus'' as i said if u know what ('') means, and i was suspended for no reason and its probably not just me, there are ingame GM-s that can ban hackers and not an anti cheat that bans for example if there is kind of virus on your computer, because lets just say someone can not afford to pay antivirus and he is using free anti virus, and we all know free anti virus programs arent the best. there are another anti cheat programs also that may not work like this one and ban innocent players..

I'll try that out then when I get my windows xp system rebuilt.

Free or paid, doesn't make a difference to be honest. The only true way to prevent them is to either stay offline, or know how to maintain your system.
Test out software in a sandbox and see what file changes it makes.
Keep your web browser in a sandbox at all times.
Don't use cracks for popular games
    Quit downloading incest pron.

Those are more effective ways to prevent a virus than using even a paid antivirus.

In the end, YOU are responsible for your computer and your account. I've seen every excuse under the sun from people claiming they didn't hack, when in fact they did. Some didn't hack on molten, but they used a hack on another private server, and used the same wow instillation to play here. Some hacks PERMANENTLY modify your wow.exe, or leave traces in the cache files which get you caught.

As for the being stuck bit, I've actually seen that as a side effect for trying to use an old version of a popular hacking program for fly/speed/teleport/faction change/cross faction/ tracking and having it bug out a few offsets related. That or you have a corrupt wow.exe as being stuck in the game is the result of a client side problem.
