It's just an administrative choice. It doesn't has to have any underlying secret goal. Starting fresh is a goal in itself.
Old, loyal players had vote points refunded when we rebooted. All everyone has been getting since is "click points," which were pretty meaningless, just us keeping a tradition. And even for those people have the chance to use them with what's available before any reset happens.

WoW on most servers, has become downgraded. The underlying roots of WoW were wiped clean with shops, coins, and 'vote points'.
Every server needs SOMEthing to pay the bills with, so before i get backlash for 'how u expect server to run huh??' - im not saying these above mentioned things shouldnt exsist>
what im asking is, if I can see what warmane is doing > can anyone else??

They have obviously come to the conclusion that the server that was THEN, isnt on par with what they can build for the future ....and for whatever reason, the vote point system is not on par with their vision. So its being reworked. Remade. All new. We can spend our points now, but they arent keen on spending another month or 2 going through XXXXXXXX accounts to reconfigure, and redistribute points back out to coincide with thier new system.

You should have just removed items like Boe's, materials, certain mounts, and well certain items, that's all. Not every change is a good one. (It's an opinion,not a bash in case someone gets mistaken again)

What are the activity ranks? I'm at Agent, but unlike contributor status, mousing over it doesn't show the other ranks.

My activity rank is Agent.
My community rank is Patriot.

Does anyone know the rank list for these 2 rankings? :)

Goto My Account at the top, then goto the Store tab, choose your realm and character, select coins, select whatever you'd like to do! You can goto the marketplace and buy gear or items... You can goto the trading center and buy mounts or gold for coins... You can also use all the other features like instant level ups.

I feel really uneasy with the uncertainty of what features will be available after the reset. Any word on whether faction change or name change will remain available?

Can't wait for news on Activity ranks to be released :x that's what Im most concerned about. I do hope it's not play-time based (Cus exploitable, and then you'd need to ban ppl running afk macros on their gaming gear, which is then hard to track and discouraging ppl from using their expensive gear o.o) but then again it does encourage ppl to play more. :x

Really hope the activity rank isnt based on in game play time as i dont get much time for wow with kids and a wife lol. But again with warmane not saying anything about it i can only guess the community will not be happy with the changes..

Excitement for a month or two. Greater disappointment at still totally broken wotlk pvp after false hopes. More hackers, more afk bots. Quit players.
