1. Is AutoHotKey allowed?

For many years on Retail WoW, I would use AutoHotKey. Not in any bad way... I would do exactly what Kripparian did when he played WoW...

As a guitarist I try to take any precautions I can to prevent myself from getting arthritis. This includes stretching my fingers and wrists every few hours, and also using AutoHotKey in WoW to do my key smashing for me...

...Basically, I have a script that, while holding down a key(like '1'), it will continue to spam that key.

With this, I myself don't have to continuously spam the key I want to hit... I can just hold it down.

I have used this script on retail for about 4 years now, and have never been banned using it. I thought, however, that I would just check with Warmane Staff before using this script on Warmane servers.

Again, all this script does, is spam a key that I'm holding down... This way when an ability is almost ready, I don't have to spam the key, I can just hold it down.

  2. Having a program that presses a key for you automatically is not instantly bannable but it's a grey area and can still in some cases can still lead to account suspension. What we look for and deal with is people who use a bot that either will completely play the game for them while they do something else, or will automatically press commands for the player the moment an NPC or another player tries to do an ability. Another example is jumping or doing an ability to avoid being marked as AFK in a battleground, what you have described however should, theoretically be alright since what you described to me is more or less like a turbo button on one of those peasant devices I think they call a third party game controller. To me this fine as long as you have to make the decision of when it is being used, and you have to hold down the button to make it work.

Yes, I would have to actively hold the key down for it to spam the key. It is exactly a "turbo button" style script. I may just not use it, I don't want to risk anything on this account.
