Pandaria Warlock or mage

Hello all. I have both warlock and mage at 90 basically. Idk which I'm going to gear up for arenas first though. I'm on the MOP expansion. I use affliction lock and frost Mage. I will be doing a lot of 2s and maybe 3s. One of my friends plays on this realm as well. He is using a boomkin right now and he also has a warrior he is gonna swap to this server in about 10 days. But he is planning on doing pvp and gearing boomkin first. Seeing as I will do the majority of my pvp with him I wanted some Opinions on which I should gear first. Thanks to all who reply

I would personally choose mage with fire spec cuz it's more elusive and has multiple ccs, although affli locks are pretty good too.

Affli boomkin is ridiculous comp. Sick pressure sick CC sick offhealing. And for 3s there is LSD2 just find rshammy.
