WotLK Warrior's "Flying Charge" - blizzlike or not?

Since the changes from the merge with AT I noticed that warriors can now charge pretty much anything anywhere.
They don't seem to care about paths at all, they just charge you in a straight line, even flying if needed.

It seems that charge is as capable as Shadowstep: I've been charged in AV towers while I was on top and the warrior was on the ground, charged while I was on a SotA turret platform and so on.

It's been a long time since I played retail but I don't remember this behaviour; if there's no path, the warrior should get a message like "Not path available".

I didn't find any bug report on the bug tracker ... can anyone confirm this before I make a useless report?

Yes confirmed, wariors are allowed to flyhack while everybody else gets banned. Also try to notice how wariors can charge through alot of objects arena pillars included.

I'm sure there's more fixes incoming, the pathfinding on dw and rag is still different than on blackrock (last time I checked)

On Lordaeron PTR I didn't noticed that Warriors can charge in the air. Maybe on your realm didn't got recent updates I think.

Thanks for the feedback! In that case I'll assume the devs are aware of it.
I'll wait a little while to see if an update is pushed, otherwise I'll make a bug report.

This is reported in the bugtracker and the part about flying wariors and wariors charging through edges of los is confirmed by the staff.

I just found the report, although it is listed for MoP - which is why I couldn't find it anywhere, I was filtering by expansion WotLK.
I'd rather make another one specifically for WotLK just to be sure it's not ignored. Thanks for the info.

I had assumed warriors needed line of sight to charge, but lately I've noticed they go around corners if they feel like. I don't remember how this worked in retail.

On Lordaeron PTR I didn't noticed that Warriors can charge in the air. Maybe on your realm didn't got recent updates I think.

Actually, I think they fixed the Warrior Flying Charge on the Lordaeron PTR. At least that's what dodgykebaab showed in his PTR coverage video.

Lol necropost! Yeah it doesn't work the flying charge and most of the things with path finding is working.
