Was there ever a patch where Enhancement shaman just dominated the logs? Or have they been a mediocre class since Vanilla?

Sunwell TBC with Molten fists etc. when they made Agi add attack power is when they shone.

You gotta understand Blizzard can't just take one of the most versatile hybrid classes and make them OP at every spec.

I believe that if you look in warcraftmovies you will find a PvE video of a orc shaman doing sunwell with really high dps, i cant recall exactly.. They were nerf right after that.

I think in cata enhance can pull some decent dps but they dont dominate the dmg charts.
Its a shame that a hybrid spec like ret pala tops in every expansion the dmg charts while elemental and enhance schami always leave behind.
I want vanilla back where enhance shami was a killing machine and ret pala had nothing beside auto attack :D

Enhance was VERY solid throughout all of MoP and was at its peak in 5.3. I could hit 500-600k DPS burst during the Lei Shen pull when both my HC trinkets procced and that was without heroism even.

not dominate charts? probably u never played with good shaman Enhancement with No Khaled Hc geared full Ds Hc... can easily hit 95-110k on cata

Well i got "decent" gear on my enh sham and i pulled 11-16k in icc 10n, it depends which encounter it is as well. I will be honest, your damage will suck, until you get a decent gear on. With enh sham you can't make ANY mistakes with your rotation, if you do then your damage will fall quite fast.

I find it nearly impossible to make a perfect dmg rotation with out any mistake.
Especially when magma totem and fire nova comes into play.
The enhance has enough spells to use a ability on every global cd and its really hard to use every second the right spell.
Small mistakes like using fire nova when stormstrike is already rdy are nearly impossible to avoid.

I played Wotlk on blizzard server and enhancement aswell as elemtal shamn were top dps in icc content!
