1. Going to donate to this server in a few days. What are wise coin investments?

I currently have a Feral Druid with a 4.8k Gearscore. I play on the realm Deathwing (thank you Warmane for offering me a free transfer to that server) and my intention is to PVE with just a little PVP (mostly world PVP) into the mix. I've also given thought to making at least one alt character so that I'll have another class to play other than my Druid.

So what would your recommendations be?

  2. Weapons and trinkets.
    This

you really don't need to donate for anything else than BiS weps and trinks. Rest is easy enough to get in-game and it gives you somewhat of a progression if you don't donate for everything.

  3. Weapons and trinkets.
and that ^^^^^ is the definition of "pay to win"

otherwise just donate so they can pay the people and maintain the server aka "donation" vs "purchase"

  4. Weapons and trinkets.
    Didn`t expect this from staff.

  5. Didn`t expect this from staff.
It was an honest reply, to a simple question. There is nothing wrong in the staff suggesting it, since we would have done the same thing anyway.

  6. Also buy an Epic Purple Shirt if you get a leftover coin. Screw Precious' Ribbon, Epic Purple Shirt is the real deal!

  7. I suggest getting wrathful shoulders if u wanna pvp cause 3s is pretty dead

Start with Oathbinder, charge of ranger general and Sharpened Twilight Scale (the 284ilvl one). Deathbringer's will and Signet of Twilight (284 ring) if you have more coins left.

Other leather pieces for Feral are very easy to get once you start raiding as there is no real competition for leather in raids

  9. First decide what spec to play, then waste coins, because feral cat is not that wanted for heroic raids, especially in good guilds. Most of guilds are using resto/balance druids, sometimes feral bear tanks.
If you decide to go feral cat get togc25 back, chest loot is bugged (at least was when i played wotlk) and can't obtain it ingame, all other items from icc/rs are obtainable.

But it isn't even bis for feral PvE.

no comment. which one is bis for you?

  12. shadowmourne if you are playing any plate, trinkets for the other classes, rest is easy to get.

Donation: something (such as money, food, clothes, etc.) that you give in order to help a person or organization - a basic meaning of donation, which means that your kindness determines you to offer your help towards an organization.

However, it seems that people treat this donation feature as a market, trading center, where you exchange money for in-game advantages. I support and encourage all kind of donation, but please remember that donating is a noble act, not a shopping spree, you are expected to donate just to show your support, gratitude for the staff and also contribute to the Warmane's future.

When you meet a poor man or an old lady you help them just for the sake of doing good, not because you will be rewarded, this applies here to, donate to support the server as they offer you an unique chance to relax on these realms. Please don't take any offence, but donation is a noble act, while trading money for items it's kinda of the opposite and shouldn't be called donation .

You cannot "donate for an item "as it doesn't make sense, but you can actually say that you are purchasing items.

Just like blood donors, these " donors" should be kept under secret and granted only minor rewards, just like the medical staff offers you a chocolate or a drink for donating (also to recover), you get my point.

  14. OP, you should get yourself a flying horse., like the one that drops from the Lich King. It's not actually invisible as the name suggests so you're not getting ripped off, don't worry. Then spend the rest of your money on cheap alcohol so you can ignore all the voices in your head screaming you've made a terrible mistake and ride the flying horsie in peace. Or at least till next morning.

I don't know if you're new to private servers but donations are only called that for the purpose of mitigating legal action against the server. Outside of legalities, it is very much a market, not a charity. You're arguing about the semantics of a word that is misdefined very deliberately, Captain.
