The server <Ragnaros> went down 5 minutes ago and I went to the website and it said "Last seen: 1 minute ago from United States". But I am not from the US, so I changed my password in case someone hijacked my account. I asked people in-game if the server went down and they told me yes. But why did it say I logged in from the US?
I logged in my account after the server came up and nothing is stolen from my characters.
Can you help me understand what happened?

Its likely just some web script that tries to find our your location and obviously it doesnt work right on you..dont worry!

Nah dude it always says correctly where I logged in from, in this occasion though it said I logged in from US which is incorrect, therefore the thread I made.
It only happened after the server went down.
