about voting points

yesterday I had 48 vote points and I'm sure about it and when I came today to collect my points I found 0 points so I thought it's a mistake but when I clicked on collect points the total number became 10
can I ask what happened and how can I get my vote points back ?

How could you not see any of the messages ingame about point reset, the topic on forum about it and notice on website?

well I used to login for a few minutes just to be able to vote because my internet connection had so many troubles so I didn't notice any messages
anyway it seems it's not a bug and it happened to all am I correct ?
