1. Real life WoW problems...

I couldn't find any category to put this in... so, moderators, if this is not the right one, feel free to delete it.

I have a IRL friend who fits the bill for being my arena-partner for arenas, he is having good reflexes, he is smart, and understands English.
The problem is.. he is addicted already to another game, and he won't stop. He sits on the computer half a day, and does not want to hear about WoW. From my experience, he wants to play it so bad, but he can't since he is anything but patient. It ain't nothing about me. Because of his mad reflexes every mutual friend (gamers everywhere!! :D Most of them suck...) wants him to play their favourite games... He ignores them all obviously. I'm seeking tips about how can I drag him to play WoW, and be my arena partner. I don't want to play with people online (no, i'm not shy) since, I want a solid team, not someone that's gonna throw out of the team after a week.

  2. In my honest opinion, you can't.
But I also think his addiction will pass, especially if hes playing some F2P game.
    Give it some time.

  3. From my experience, he will return to wow eventually. I played so many games (dota, league, guild wars, rpg games, pes, manager...) and i always return to wow.

  4. I would say waiting would be a waste of your time. There are tons of other capable players who can play as your arena partner. Plus, you could always play with someone else till their addiction blows over :)

  5. find out his password and delete his characters, just don't let him find out it was you.

    *insert DR EVIL Meme here*

  7. if you are a true friend and he really has an addiction problem, get him some help.

dragging him into another addiction is not helpful at all.

    I totally agree with this.

As for your friend.. The problem is that you are selfish in my opinion..

Plot twist: OP also has wow addiction and might be in need of assistance also. :x

@OP: I say just move on xD too bad you lost godly reflexed partner. Maybe you should be the one with godly reflexes now and carry scrubs :x you shouldn't rely on others when it comes to stuff like this.
