I suggest you going through the topics in these two sub forums:

Read the threads about those 2 classes on mop, their bugs, advantages and flaws. Then decide on your own. Or at least "upgrade" your questions instead of making them so vague. Like, do you plan to dps, tank or heal, do you plan to PvP or PvE. Cause there's no simple answer to your question.

No. Each class has 3 speccs you can choose from. Being a little more precise would be nice.

The only thing which is totally sad is that Brewmaster Monks stagger is broken for ages now. Trayz promised a fix ages ago and still nothing happend.

Focus Lordaeron? Ok, sure.
Lordaeron ore used on MoP later? There are no Monks on Wotlk so better starting working to get that formula fixed, PLEASE.
