1. What's up with Alliance players?

I've been playing WoW for many years now across different servers and I've noticed that Alliance players are always trying to annoy the hell out of Horde players, everywhere.

Countless times I'm just hanging out somewhere with friends, along comes an Alliance player, usually many levels above me, kills me, kills my buddies and camps our bodies. Doesn't matter how many times we come back, doesn't matter that we just sit down and show that we are NOT interested in PVP, they won't stop.

Then I realized that from all the dozens of real life friends I have that actually play WoW, they are always horde, and they are all nice folks.

Seems to me that if a person is a thug in real life, they always choose to be Alliance when they create their character.

Now I'm not here to try and provoke anybody, I'm genuinely trying to understand.

Again and again, I sit down and do not fight back, and yet they persist till I'm dead enough times to quit WoW for the day. I always assumed that if you show no interested in PVP, the opposing faction would just go away and find someone else to bother. But seems like these guys just feel an immense pleasure on annoying the hell out of other people till they give up on playing. Let alone the mocking that happens after you die. Makes it clear how much of a sad life that person has.

Now I may be wrong, but I don't EVER see Horde players doing the same to Alliance players. I'm serious here, I've been everywhere in the map throughout these 8 years I have in WoW, and I'm yet to see one Alliance player being bullied. And if one day I do see that, I'll give my horde fellow players a hard time via whisper.

Can someone shine a light on this matter? Why do they persist on being a-holes and what can I do to show I'm not going to participate?

    Thank you.

  2. Uh not really i mean both sides have their *******s, trolls and toxic players but you can't really marginalize a whole faction by a few peoples experiences that's my opinion at least... People have always been *******s especially with anonymity as a bonus on top of the shining turd.

  3. there's been countless topics made like this over the years. always the same thing. some people simply prefer to kill anything that is the opposite faction. i myself enjoy doing it from time to time, although i won't generally camp someone, just a 1 kill fly by, unless they log a horde toon and msg me with a rant, then i'll camp them.

there's really nothing you can do aside from switch zones or play a different character for a while.

  4. Can someone shine a light on this matter? Why do they persist on being a-holes and what can I do to show I'm not going to participate?
You can start by not making threads that clearly show whatever it is that they're doing is working.

  5. well, since sarg merged onto frostwolf i have noticed alot of instant teleporting,
and GENERAL RULE of thumb is alli using horde alts usually in balkens/latina guilds. so if ur in a bg and you see player dart directly to midfield and they hide their guild title or balkens or latina anything in guild name thats alli screwing horde in bg's..

basically their lazy and dont wanna fight bg's as ment to be. just my opinion but several other hordes have pst me saying they noiticed the same

  6. I've been /cut
    Oh look what I found:
    http://forum.warmane.com/showthread....=horde+players

Same bullcrap about the other faction. Now, would you all just get it into your thick skulls already; it's not about the faction, it's about the "people" (read, mongloids) playing. There's tons of them on both sides.

    Now I may be wrong.....
...and what can I do to show I'm not going to participate?
    Yes you are...
...and you can log out. Make lunch. Clean up your apartment. Go out. Delete game. Lots of choices.

The vast majority of mature players roll Horde. There is a disproportionate number of 12 year old kids who think they are bad asses on Ally. This is not to say you won't get dicks on Horde, but in general this tends to be the case. Most likely it is because before people reach a certain age, things seem to be more black and white in terms of "good" or "bad", "right" and "wrong". To the immature eye, Horde is clearly the bad here, so younger, immature audiences want to be the "good" guys, so therefore they go to the Alliance. It's strange, I know, but it has been that way as long as I can remember. BTW, Horde is a good choice my friend, Lok'tar Ogar!

  8. Just cause some players like to kill other players but saying the whole faction is bad, immature, childish etc. is just overreacting just like Kelthuzzad said.
And as Zerrubabel said that's not necessarily true, when I was 12 I didn't pick Alliance just according to your logic I chose it because I like the the environment of the "friendly territory" not because of your logic of "blue good, red bad" type of thing. And most people don't notice how much gankers, campers, cheaters etc. is on their own faction. Just because you simply do not know how equally bad both factions can doesn't mean you have to jump to conclutions and say simple things like "What's up with Alliance" or "Only kids play ally". And at the last sentence of Zerrubabel's post "BTW, Horde is a good choice my friend..." thats just like your opinion.

And plus like my opinion: "Deal with it, every faction have those people nobody like"

The last part is my opinion. It was never meant to be part of my argument. And I wasn't saying it based on red/blue, I actually did mean exactly as you said, it seems to be a more friendly, nice environment. (undead and orcs can be kind of "icky") Also, I have also rolled Ally, and even got 2 toons to max level and raid ready. But I didn't do so until after I had played for awhile, and I really just wanted to try some new races and have a change of scenery. There are plenty of nice and mature players on Alliance, and I'm sure you are one of them, but I think we can both agree that 12 year olds are not quite yet at the point where they are mature enough to know what is bad mannered and what is not in a game like WoW, and as you said, when you were 12, you liked the "good" feel of the Alliance, so you rolled Ally. There's no problem with that, but it would explain why you have a greater proportion of socially unacceptable behavior on Ally side.

  10. The vast majority of mature players roll Horde. There is a disproportionate number of 12 year old kids who think they are bad asses on Ally. Either b8, or 12 yourself. If anything, 12 year olds would rather join horde because they want to be "badass" and "edgy". There's ******s on either side.

  11. I can say I've had the exact same experience on Alliance side, and every single Horde has been an *******.

It's the same either side. Each side has it's own *******s, neither has more or less. If you think that the opposite faction has more *******s, roll that faction for about a month and you'll change your opinion.

This is based on my own experience, as I've played both sides (even though I still main Alliance). When I was ally, horde would gank me non-stop, when I was horde, ally would gank me non-stop.

  12. I wonder why there are never any threads about when Alliance/Horde players help Horde/Alliance with Ring of Blood or rescue them from groups of mobs that are about to kill them.

I guess it's just human nature to dwell on negativity... Dirty humans!

    Racist - yes
    Rude - yes
    Not true - yes

Basicly its the same **** on both sides, there are people ganking horde places & alliance places. Low lvl people reach 90, are pissed and do the same thing. 99% of the times when I ask why the **** are you ganking I get the same reply: "They did it to me" (Note that "They " is ment to be the gankers but these guys for some reason see everyone as a ganker...)

Azeroth is our world, horde are invaders and we will wipe them! :P

    This is false...
I'm 23 and I was the younger of my old alliance pvp guild before the crash (I talked with alot of people from the alliance in Team speak , and they were alway people of 20-50 years [Some with sons]), and all the surveys show that the child population tends to concentrate in the horde side, because they want to be the ''bad/cool guys''.

Now you say you are playin horde and judging ally players. What do you know about horde players may doin same thing to ally. İts not about horde\ally. İts more about personality. And you are a little hater. Have fun.
