Hi, we really need some GMs ( ingame ) and Mods ( Forum ) for Frostwolf.
The Global Chat is full of : This Server sucks, dont start to play here! We have no updates! Blabla they never release new stuff! Full of BUGS here better leave!
Yes i know I CAN ignore it and ido so, BUT for new Players this is really ****. What would you do if you join a new Server and all you read is how bad the Server is? Would you stay?
I min see it 10 times a day a Player ask " Hi im new can you tell me xyz " and he get 6-9 anwser how bad the Server is and there will be never fixes and so on. And the ppl tell the new Players to better leave now.
I think we get many new Players each day, but also we loose most of them cause they only read things like how "dead" this Server is.
If you search/or ask for a GM ingame you could also go search the yeti and maby have more luck with that.
Also the Frostwolf Forum has near 0 moderation ( ofc not even 10% as bad as the Global channel but also more posts how bad the Server is and ...yeah see yourself )
So i think it would be not hard to find some Ppl who can do this Job ( and they would do it for free ).

Or tell them how it really is.
If there are Guys write: "You better leave now, there will be no updates the next 6 Months" you should close it and post a msg how it is, so if new Players want to join they read it.
If you dont do this you should min remove the "bad" posts. There are more Posts how "bad" the Server is, then other posts.
I dont want them to be banned i just want the trash they write removed. ( Or anwser them, how it really is. )
And also like i said the Forum is not even near the Global Channel ( i dont want a 24/7 Day moderation on Global , but a few hours each day. So the ppl check " Hey if i write just **** i get 6 Hours Global Mute, next time more, next time more, and THEN mute total in global. )Edited: September 29, 2015

This is their opinion. As long as it is not against rules (and having reasonable and/or true critism (meaning that facts are correct) are not against rules for sure), they have no reason to silence or ban them. That is, as long as they dont suggest (advertise) other servers.

True that, opened a ticket a while ago and waited 15 days for response, in which they said they were buisy and didn't give an answer. But i guess that is cool now, bc look at the title when you open the site Warmane | WoW WotLK Private Server, that explains it all, they're only focusing on wotlk realms, well damn it, when Malaco and AT team came i thought they will focus more on newer expansions, and they've promised lots of thins that will come in semptember for Frostwolf but only thing that came is new season, nothing else.

There are thousands of people online at any given time with dozens of people spamming global with useless crap all the time-- not to mention everything said in /say, /shout, /w, /g, /p. Sadly it's not so George Orwell-lian that we need to punish everyone who criticizes the server or has an opinion. The forums are different because when someone runs their mouth it doesn't just evaporate after a few seconds-- it sits there like a rotting piece of meat for people to read over and over.
Personally, as the operator of an online game server (not WoW), when players come and insult all of my hard work I take it very personally and they tend to be banned permanently for it as those players have no useful purpose other than to whine and annoy everyone. I have actually filtered the word "sucks" with "is awesome! I'm jealous!" to troll those kinds of players a bit (they think someone has hacked them XD), though it is a bit of a double edge now that no one can say something "sucks" no matter what it is, heheh.

If I were a new player and see these things in chat, I would ask myself: Why do they say these things and continue playing here?
And I would grant myself 2 possible answers:
1. The people talking are salty and are just spewing **** because they don't get the things the way they want, and probably things aren't so bad. I would then proceed to ignore them.
2. If things are really bad, and they continue here, then I assume these people have severe masochism and a posible Stockholm syndrome going on, they are probably very sick in the head and can no longer take simple decisions like leaving a place that is bad. I would therefore, proceed to ignore these people.
You know how valuable is the opinion of people who say things in global? It's jacksh*t, 99% of the time the advice is not valuable, and is just random nonsense full of trollish and childish stupidity. If you really value your sanity, you better /leave global.

Besides all that Watamote said, would you say then that if someone comes to the Forum be a dick, but is a great player in game, they should be banned on both for consistency? Or the other way around: they are great in game, so let him be a dick in the Forums freely?

No in-game tickets remain open for more than 1 day even in days where many GMs aren't around. We have a log of all tickets opened and closed verified daily. Can you prove your statement?
