Multiboxing on Lordaeron | Yes or no?

The population won't reduce because of multiboxers, because regular players seem to be better at handling not having their way - all other servers have players, despite multiboxing, but when the possibility of no multiboxing in one server comes up people almost get treated to accusations of "racism against multiboxing."

Not necessarily, most anti-multi-box posts in this thread do come solely from spite or ignorance of how the process works which is pretty much what all "racism" stems from if you boil it down.

I don't see why Warmane waits until this particular server to put up a stand against multi-boxing. It's done else where and it's just another aspect of the game. The staff has done a great job with Lordaeron why would they pick this particular server to start narrowing down what type of legal play is allowed?

Everyone in Warmane knows ahead of time how the poll is going to turn out, so playing the card "no, we're letting the community decide" is just a scapegoat. They're vvveerrryyy small minority of the player base, almost nonexistent if you look at the stats. So, any poll against them will inevitably lose over and over due to the bitter and ignorant players that have come into contact with multi-boxers without actually looking into how the "culture" works and those players that have been told rumors by the former.

Your bias showed in the post I quoted so I felt like I had to retort in someway. If the staff is already against them, then why bother with the facade of a poll? I am curious if any of the staff actively multi-box, can show proof that they do, and then tell us their opinion on multi-boxing in bolth pvp and pve scenarios. Otherwise, I don't see the point of a multi-boxing subforum, or for this poll.

For all we know, it could've been one of their dreams as a multi-boxer to actually play through a 1x realm that is 99% fixed. This is definitely their ultimate playground they've been waiting for from completing every dungeon on the way up, going back and fighting against all the raid mechanics in Vanilla and TBC, and then progressing themselves through the raids of WotLK. Not to mention having some fun in the pvp brackets on the way up. Maybe they want to twink out their squad, who knows.

This server is a wonderful thing for Warmane, and I truly think if Warmane has thought they were fine on other servers, and (here it comes) retail thinks it is fine on their servers, that all legit players should be allowed on it.

Is funny how Multiboxers are a little minority but the number of posts here are almost equal to normal players and the poll is at 30% for them. It's clear that all the MBer have the habit to post in the forum. I am an example, I'm not new to Warmane but this is just the second thread where I do post.
This topic/poll really should be advertised to invite all the normal/casual players out there to partecipate. I know this would scary MBer cuz they hate Democracy.

I have multiple accounts I have donated on, and really want to Multibox on Lordaeron, why should I be disallowed? I only 5 box for fun, and I dont see how the VAST minority of Warmane players can possibly have any impact on the rest of you guys. Why is this even an issue? Is there any proof that multiboxing, which has been allowed by Blizz since WoW's inception, causes any harm to these servers? If anything. by contributing on my accounts, I have helped support this game. Why should I be punished for playing how I want? I paid to play here, and support you guys, but if I cant box on Lord, I will be hard pressed to justify any further financial support. ESPECIALLY when most of these voters are most likely non donors to begin with.

Im sorry, was there any valid discussion, or proof of harm that multiboxing does? Donators keep the game alive fyi. Pretty sure there is policy against bashing people who donate, like you just did.

If anything, put a cap on how many boxers you can have at once. Or disallow boxing in BG's. Im sure most boxers would be fine with a few restrictions so you dont wind up with armies of 200 boxers (which would be an EXTREME rarity).

This poll will reflect the numbers. Multiboxers are in such a minority they will never be able to keep up with an unbiased vote. There simply arent enough of us. I have dreamed of 5 boxing on a normal XP, mostly fixed WOtLK server. Now that I may have a chance, it sucks that we may not be allowed to, because people dont understand boxing, or are incapable of doing it, so they hate by default.

that's what i think if the multi boxer doesn't use bots i don't think it's an abuse and people can deal with it on pvp for example,also the multi boxer won't be able to control a hug number.

That's basically a threat, which I doubt any staff care about, if boxing was strong banned from Warmane altogether then I'd understand. What is the big thing about one server that you can't box on guys? You have 3 other Wrath Servers and 3 non-wrath servers. Why do you want this one as well. Seriously, it's selfish. We all had to put up with your **** 'play style' on EVERY realm for years now, sure there was some QQ threads, I even defended boxing in most of them as they do financially support this server, but now we want one realm to ourselves you all get salty and cry. ****. The act of donating or the fact donors exist shouldn't be insulted or attacked - you are playing on a free server because of them.
