Point collection is currently unavailable

So.. you take the old points down, after silently removing anything useful (gems, kits), to update the new system... okay, we'll buy last minute mounts and pets.

The "update" comes, and this takes like 2-3 weeks, but you can still collect points. But you can't use the shop (wtf is the point of having like 200 extra vote points?).

And now "Point collection is currently unavailable".

We're updating things today, squishing points, adding fractions, activity ranks, so on.

Point collection will be available again in a few hours.

edit: i see it's partially based on achievement points. will there be more info in the coming weeks? i'm 0.1 away from dat fancy ambassador rank.

I think we'll be releasing what kind of criteria gets you closer to each rank tonight or tomorrow.

Activity rank is purely based on account standing (banned, how many times, not banned before) and overall UNIQUE achievement points across all realms, characters, expansions for your account.

I was shooting for 150 vote points to faction transfer my char. I was sitting yesterday on you guessed it, 140 vote points :x
I now am seeing 14.0 vps. Does this mean I'll get 15 by the end of the day and that faction change will cost 15 points?
Please tell me so, I'd be banging my head against walls if it wasn't the case.

nice, hope clairifications come soon. I see achievements are now fundamental in points earning. the good state of account is obscure to me, though.
anyway, I'd like to know wether having 1 or 99 different characters makes any difference towards collecting points?

i m now in Envoy rank. how i know i get promotion from envoy to Ambassador .
