1. Help me pick

So, I'm trying to decide which class to roll, and the choice is harder than usual, because I'm usually a so called "multiclasser" and play many different classes, but this time I wont have time to level more than one class on Lordaeron.

I'm mainly focused on pvp and arenas, and at the moment deciding between priest - warrior - hunter.

Priest has always been one of my main classes, and considering on rolling shadow, but can't remember many shadow priest before wrahtfull season, any ideas how they were / will be on on the comming seasons, with the lacking haste? On the plus side, if shadow wouldn't work, I could always roll disc...

I fell in love with warrior late wrathfull season and it was one of my mains in cata and AT (blackrock). I always regretted not going for warrior earlier, and was thinking that this could be my chance to try out warrior again, but I have heard a lot of people saying that they wont be good before later seasons, when they can stack more armorpenetration.

Hunter was another that I fell in love with early cata, and never really tried it on wotlk, except some random games on AT, which I did enjoy. But I've heard people also saying that hunters will be lacking without the gear. I'm also a bit considered if hunt / war will be viable, as my recollection of wotlk was 90% of the teams being spellcleaves.

Now I know, many will just say, that don't think about what is going to be the best, just play what you enjoy, and I can say that after countless of seasons of playing the class that I enjoy playing with I'm tired of ending up with just sitting on trade channel looking for partners, and every team going with someone else, just because my class happened to be bad that season.

Sorry about the long rant. I will really appreciate any input and help, so I can make up my mind.

    PS. Horde or Alliance?

    Thanks for any responses,

    Lulzi :)

  2. It's not ALL spellcleavees. TSG, turbocleave, mancleave, and WLD were all viable for warrior. And hunters had PHD, beastcleave, ret/hunter/healer which were all very good.

Priests were solid but not quite as popular. A lot of teams without shaman dps picked up a resto shaman for their healer, and a lot of the teams with one picked up the resto druid or holy paladin, either for better cc or better support in the form of things like freedom. Shadow was good with any of the spellcleaves, or a dk. Could make rogue work too.

  3. Easy:

    Want to heal? Priest
Want to cast and off-heal? Priest
    Want to tank? Warrior
    Want to mdps? Warrior
    Want to rdps? Hunter

Make a notepad and stack pros and cons. That's how I decided my class.
