I just installed 3.3.5a and set up the realmlist. When I try to log in it says "This World of Warcraft account has been temporarily suspended" but I don't seem to be banned. Anyone know what is causing this?

I think I found what is causing it but I can't seem to fix it. The client seems to be connected to another server and even when I change the logon on config.wtf and realmlist.wtf it still connects to that server.

Even after I change the logon to warmane in the config, it goes back to the other one after I exit the game.

On wotlk and cataclysm you only have to change it in realmlist.wtf not Config.wtf. Config should update automatically. If it gets reverted you are probably writing something wrong. What exactly are you writing in realmlist.wtf?

make sure that the folder is not set to read only. if it is than any changes you make won't be saved.

Oh, I played only MoP before. I made a realmlist.wtf in the WTF folder and tried to do it like that since there was no realmlist.wtf. I searched around in the folder and found out the realmlist.wtf file was in the data folder. Now it works and doesn't switch to the other server.

Btw, hope that last server you got banned from taught you a lesson. You should know we do not tolerate any cheating here, play fair or you'll be given your walking papers here too. Save yourself the trouble, if you are just such a bad player that you simply cannot play fairly, take up knitting.

It's rude to assume someone's been banned for cheating on a different private server, there are a whole lot of unprofessional servers out there that ban you for nonsense.
