My Lordaeron Experience: A shining glory!

Hello Staff and Community!


I'd just like to take a moment to post what Lordaeron has been like for me.

My guild originated on the Lordaeron server before the Molt-down, needless to say, a great number of us who remained from it were more than excited to return to it, as well as some of our other members. We set up again on Deathwing after the crash, as a horde guild. I decided to launch an Alliance guild on Lordaeron this time around.

At first, things were still buggy; alot of us were disappointed. However, as time goes on we're noticing less bugs. So far, pretty much everything we've done after the first week has been bug-free, and roughly 95% blizz-like.

We went to wailing caverns as a guild run, I was pleased to discover that the escort event worked perfectly. Same with all content within the other dungeons we've tried too.

It's also great to notice that a majority of the speech text on NPC's is working.

Lordaeron works so properly, it almost makes Deathwing look like a hunk of junk. Not many of my guildies want to play there anymore. And those who stayed on Deathwing are angry about the new Point store, specifically because it has T10, Deathbringer's Will, and all sorts of goodies now.

Needless to say, it's difficult keeping the guild together across two realms, especially when those on Deathwing are upset. But I digress.


Getting back to Lordaeron, it's great seeing patrol mobs and other such things working. The only odd bug I'm really still annoyed by is that Scarlet Monastery Graveyard still has the Headless Horseman shrine in it. This happened at the launch of Deathwing too, so I assume it's some default script or so.


All in all, my guild and I have thoroughly been enjoying Lordaeron. Laughing about gold being valuable again, struggling to get mounts and spells, etc. It has also been nice seeing alot less fly / speed hackers as well.

The only thing I would reccomend is fixing the "hang-ups." Jumping off the boat or tram while they're moving causes my character to get stuck.

You guys have done a great job!

I look forward to your work with the Holiday events. Would be great to finally earn a Violet Proto Drake!

Hey there Jody,

You couldn't have seen a lot of hackers, as matter of fact you couldn't have seen a single one. Currently not cheating is present on Lordaeron due to the fact that the system prevents anyone to cheat. Anyone trying to fly without the blue unique robes we wear will find themselves on the ground, knees bloody, very quickly.

That's why you're also experience the 'hang-ups'. The system is currently a bit aggressive and we will also fine tune it so this doesn't happen either.

As for the rest, we're really glad that you guys are enjoying yourselves and we hope only to make the experience better as we go.
