Forum subscribing to a topic

Goodafternoon Warmane,

I have a issue with the forum, and maybe there are people out there who can help me:)

When you read the forum and you like a topic/post and you want to stay informed about it you can subscribe to the topic and every time someone posts something new you will be notified that there is a reply to that topic. There are 2 ways to subscribe: above a topic you go to the tools button and go to subscribe to this topic, there you have 2 options: first is: instant notification by email and second: through my control panel
Both options seem not to work for me, when I subscribe to a topic and someone replies I don't get an email or a notification in my control panel.

My gmail account works and other warmane related mails I receive in my gmail just fine.

So my question is: who can confirm that both notification options work for them, and are there people that had this issue, or know how to resolve this.

no email. changed to control panel to see if that works.

exactly what I tried, no email and after that I changed to control panel and no notification there

ya no notification for me either. guessing the subscription part of the site isn't set up yet.

edit: ok, so i went in to remove the subscription. and when you click on your settings page it does actually show you your subscription has a new post. it just doesn't show up under the notification dropdown.

thank you very much Skuddy for testing this for me, it tells me that it is not my problem but a forum problem, I am emailing for days with a moderator and trying all kinds of things because I thought it was a problem with my account. I hope more people can confirm this so the problem is going to be fixed
