Hello dear warmane staff and players.I believe there isn't any thread for this yet so I have decided to take it upon myself and create this thread with the sole purpose of getting an answer to the question: Are you(warmane staff) planning to do anything about the bugged mount during the event(it doesn't drop)?Ty for the time spent in reading and hopefully giving a clear asnwer.

There's a report about it already; outside of waiting for them to confirm and fix it there's nothing else that can be done.

No no,I ain't urging for a fix,all I want to know is if there will be some way of actually getting the mount(since it's one of my 2 personal favourites).Plus with devs occupied with lord fixes I very much doubt there will be any major fixes on the other realms,let alone event fixes for some time

Here's my insight regarding this issue..
To start, because Deathwing and Ragnaros are currently running the (OLD) WotLK core, players on these two realms have inadvertently drawn the short end of the stick; the QA/Development team doesn't dabble in the old core anymore and although that Bug report states that http://wotlk.openwow.com/item=37012 doesn't drop, that's not to say that it won't. The truth is, that report was made post-Moltdown and thereby after Hallow's End took place. Put simply, there's no way to know for certain that the report is accurate with consideration that from Moltdown to Lordaeron's release, the old core has most likely changed.
Actually, I recall even last year some staff members defended the claim that it did indeed drop despite the overwhelming player consensus that it didn't (it was later made available for purchase in the Marketplace). Don't mistake this for wishful thinking.
Secondly, Lordaeron itself will be seeing some controversy regarding this. Because of the lack of RDF, http://cata.openwow.com/item=54516 will be unobtainable. This, and the fact that the http://wotlk.openwow.com/npc=23682 is a level 81 elite, does not bode well for the current level cap of 60, soon to be 70 players.
It will be interesting to see how Warmane responds to these queries as there's no doubt in my mind, Hallow's End is the most beloved world event among players.Edited: October 16, 2015

usually they put it in marketplace in the promotion section for 20 coins and 500 points. for 2 weeks during the event. atleast that's how it was during last years hallows end. but because of the marketplace changes, i have no idea if they will do it again this year.

Shouldn't it be possible to add http://cata.openwow.com/item=54516 as a guaranteed drop from the horsemen for every player? The lvl difference is ofc a problem dunno how much control they have over scaling Mobs lvls but it should be possible and would be a nice touch since Halloween is indeed by far the most beloved world event by far.

That's great and all but we're not solely talking about lord(exclusively),there are other realms(don't take this as hate/bashing).I see mods already took care of some guy making drama,so obviously either one or more members of forum staff have seen the thread.So..is there any information on the issue or has it not been forwarded at all?

DW and Rag core is old and will be changed to the new core (soon) anyway, so it probably won't be fixed...

Killed it a few times until the "too many instances" kicked in. All he dropped was those epic rings, and that item that makes your head look like a pumpkin. Did not receive [Loot-Filled Pumpkin] on first kill.
"When the Horseman was introduced in 2007, making multiple attempts required resetting the instance each time and creating multiple instance IDs, running up against the 5 instances per hour rule. In 2008, the event was changed so that resetting the instance was no longer required."
This is not the case here. Also it would die of dots or stuff 50% of the time before it reaches phase 2-3. That's all I observed in a few kills.
