1. You guys need to keep a couple things in mind: 1 - This is not vanilla, nor tbc, it is 3.3.5a wotlk the final patch of the expansion requesting things like removing flight till any level based on the fact that it's reaching tbc content is silly, in 3.3.5a you can purchase rank 1 flight in outlands at level 60 for what, 250g with rep i think? 2 - back to my prior point of which patch this is, also consider the fact that things like "rdf tools" weren't released till the expansion was basically done and over with, right? So it is entirely plausible they would want this disabled because it completely breaks their gameplay experience ideals in the sense that it rewards gold, allows gold to be "farmed" from level 15 onwards for tanks specifically not only that but it rewards free gear and thus even more free gold in the sense of vendor-loot/unwanted gear thus skewing the server marketplace while capped at any level but 80, let alone the free experience boost you gain.It also promotes a lazy attitude and lack of community, argue however you want, I was there the day it was released on retail, buggy and broken and my server went through a paradigm change to such an extent it was like a new game.

In conclusion I would like to make a little statement, as I am dead tired of seeing these posts in the forums and all day in global/parties/groups: Warmane staff have given you a server that surpasses the player cap WITH stability of a retail server (especially at the time of wotlk) with a cap of 7,000, this was not intended to be done with trinity core, nor the content in the game, I am no dev though this just my understanding. Also, they have reworked pathfinding to such an extent that I recall it working better than it did in my retail experience from some prewotlk to wod's release ( i quit then), YES it breaks but I seem to recall enemies instantly resetting when they couldn't get to you, standing there like they dropped their brains or flat out despawning whereas on Lordaeron I've had enemies run around an entire mountain just to flank me (no idea if this is intentional but I love it), pretty hardcore right? Considering also that they have thus far kept their promise of Lordaeron's release: Hardcore, 1x realm as blizzard like as possible and they TOLD US what would not be in the server from the getgo! They even kept their promise with 700% increase to the coin donations for Lordaeron meaning that maybe they trully don't need people's money for Lordaeron, as they told us they did not from the getgo. It all boils down to two things, they have kept their word on content and are every increasing their capabilities with a free wotlk server: if you do not like it go to retail where both of those things are false. Please let them do their work.

  2. Well as pointed out before the idea is just silly as both outland and northrend have places you can NOT get to without flying this will make it impossible to play the game

Specially northrend have lots of places you need to fly to. You cant even do many of the quests in stormpeaks or icecrown if you can't fly.
In outland you have dungeons you must be able to fly to get to.

So if you want no flying how do you sugest we solve this issue?

  3. I agree that flying in Outland shouldn't be allowed until level 70, because in TBC flying wasn't available until level 70, however flying in Northrend was a feature that was implemented with the release of WOTLK so it should stay like that. I appologise for repeating myself, tried to stay as clear as possible.

Wow I agree with you 100%.

I wish more people on these forums had your mindset.
