    hello guys can u tell me guys how lordaeron realm he can populate? will the community make it 8000players not 7000 cuz this is amazing realm !!! just raise the number from 7000 to 8000
    try that we gonna make amazing realm together

  2. They will raise the pop cap if necessary and if the server can hold it/be stable with that pop :)

  3. Raising a server capacity from 7k to 8k is not as easy as just changing the number. Perhaps the servers can't handle it and lagspikes and delays may strike the realm, which is something both the players and the Warmane team want to avoid at all times. Just FYI, 7k players on one private server realm is A LOT.

    They only raise the cap if the server can hold it without crashing or having instability due to the increase :).

  7. Having a queue isn't a bad thing though. Even official servers experience it from time to time.

  10. lordaeron is at 600+ queue right now. I think they should increase pop to 8k and see if the server stays stable.

  11. The more content / zones you release, the more the server has to endure. Cells will be activated and deactivated constantly, several scripts of different workings and origins will be running. One must consider that increasing pop amount in the early stages of Lordaeron will also affect in the later stages. Increasing the pop amount is easy with so few things released.

    You have to bare in mind that the source core was capable of handling 4.5k without any changes (public core).
    That was a good 5 years ago!

    Why would they up the cap though? 7k is huge capacity for a private server and the queues in peak times are so low to begin with. In my opinion, it'd be tricky to increase the capacity.

    Thanks for stating the obvious. I know it's possible to change it to 100k, but I meant that changing the capacity is not as easy as just changing a number, since you'd have to think about the consequences of it as well.

  15. Yes, right now people are just running around the world doing quests, some BGs and 5 mans or raids with barely any mechanics. The server can handle that, NR raids will be a different story.

    But IMO they should try and increase the cap as much as possible, there's nothing better than a populated server. IDK why some people complain about it. This is how an MMO should look like :D
