Pre-WotLK Scourge Invasion

So as all of you know, before wotlk was released there was an event all around Azeroth, a scourge invasion. With quests, bosses, items and ZOMBIES everywhere!

I would like to hear your opinions of the subject, would you, like me want one here for Lordaeron?

Yes please! Also I'd love to see them do the Opening the Dark Portal event. All of the glorious world pvp in Blasted Lands when the portal opens would be worth it. xD

As much as I would like to see this, if it means taking dev resources away from actual WotLK content, then I could do without it. In addition, there were many who complained about this event on retail when players inevitably started griefing using the plague debuff.

I could be wrong, but this seems like something that would take a lot of development time and it would only remain in the game for a very short period.

The engine of the server runs on 3.3.5a. This has already "happened" in the realm and it also needs the pre-wotlk release patch for tbc clients. Sorry to burst your bubble,but it won't happen.

The realm isn't progressing vanilla -> tbc -> wotlk. It is a wotlk realm,hence you have wotlk scaling and talents and simply the content is locked. (For example our clients currently act as if we haven't added a wotlk serial to them,to restrict going to Northrend and the creating of death knights.)

People seem to forget that this ISN'T actually a vanilla/TBC expansion that we are in. This is already a realm updated to the last patch of Wrath. The only thing keeping us in vanilla content is the tiered release.

Forget? No. Dont state things we already know.

I would love to have some more things to do while i wait for the actuall release. The event would be cool to have pre release of wotlk since it actually fits the theme of progressive content imo, if they were able to reproduce it.
