Orcs do slightly higher overall DPS on paper (except when the Troll Hunter is using a Bow, which activates the +1% Crit racial). Trolls burst slightly more and could potentially end up doing more DPS on very short fights, as well as on fights where the burst window is more critical. They're the top 2 Hunter races and the difference between them is extremely tiny. Go for whichever you like best.

With the doubtful scaling on pets, I'd say trolls are ahead of orcs.
