Quick info about Marketplace Please

Hey guys, been out of the wotlk loop for a while but want to come back. I know for a long time there was heirloom gear available for points in the marketplace, but now I see basically end-game gear available and that's it. Is there any heirloom gear at all and I'm just not finding it? Or was it removed? Sorry for the noob q but I haven't found an answer on here.

It was removed. You can buy it with emblems and Stone Keeper's Shards.
