New hardware question.
Hello everyone!
I have this:
http://www.gigabyte.com/products/pro...px?pid=5353#sp
And looking too buy this:
http://www.gigabyte.com/products/pro...px?pid=5501#sp
NOW! Am3+ cards only support PCIE 2.0 what I've seen and R9 390 is PCIE 3.0. Will that create a bottleneck?

But isn't the gigatransfers aloot higher nowadays than they were in 2012? I may have understood gigatransfers wrong though and I might be completely out of line.

From what I understand we are not near maxing out pcie 2.0 yet unless you are running more than one gpu, and then it's a maybe but I didn't look into it as you are just getting one. You will be fine, and the people here with your specific gpu and specific issue said it should be fine. http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/...s-and-pcie-20/

Yes, it will work. Tested it in PCPartPicker, it's compatible
