Hello,
I play for a week now on this server . This server is really very good . I 've heard that it is still running currently on BC patch status . although the client is of WOTLK .
how it looks with the experience points ? Is there a difference between Wotlk and BC in the level range of 1-70 ? I thought if an extension has been released , the levels went always easier, but it feels like in BC.
and is Woltk at endgame more easier than BC? (more spells, fight rotation usw...) or even tougher?
my mage is now lvl 25 and i have equip of lvl10.. worth it to make dungeons for better equip or buy something in AH? or should i level further? (even the quest rewards wont give me suitable equip...)

While cap was 60 which was 11-12 days ago 60 lvl raids were a bit easier than what they used to be in vanila wow, pvp was not well balanced but the leveling part is hard as it was in retail servers if not harder because chase distances and agro ranges are rumored to be larger then they should, about 70 cap i cant say much since i am level 69 but the leveling part is again hardcore and i like it
after reaching lvl 70 and finishing 1500 quests I can easily confirm that:
- few quest items drop rate are even 10 times lower than on retail (i.e. 2% instead of 20%) - further level quests mostly (60-70)
- many lootable quest item containers have re-spawn timer a bit faster than retail
- most quest mobs/bosses have re-spawn timers correct to retail ones
- PvP is unbalanced by warriors/paladins/hunters - but not that much like 2 weeks ago
- most quest chains both in Vanilia and TBC works as intended
playing on Lordaeron is an extreme sport - you will like it or you will do not. depends on you.
over all its easier than in true vanilia or TBC cos we have spells and talents from WotLK.
The required experience is the same, but you can go to Outland before reaching 60 in Azeroth. And more notably, you have the choice of area and some more quests from Outland whose rewards vastly outperform Vanilla ones of the same level, and monster loot is somewhat better, too. This is what makes it feel faster to levelup. The same is with WotLK and Northrend.
It's more notable with professions - for example, leveling to 300 in TBC was quite harder than leveling to 300 in WotLK. That's the main advantage - easier recipes for lower content brackets.
