New guy, don't know which server to choose.

Hi everyone,

I haven't played WoW for about a year and before that I played on a Vanilla server for about 1-2 years. I played offi from Vanilla to Cata with some breaks in between.

I only really play mage and focus on PvP (loved the elemental+engineering+Alchemy on Vanilla ! ^^). I didn't really think that I would get back to WoW but I started watching some videos and here I am ^^ I love Vanilla but I missed the arenas and the competitive aspect.

I wonder which server you would advise me to go to. I am really only interested in PvP and to be honest the less-time I spend leveling/gearing-up the better. I am not even sure which extension I would prefer, I only played a little of WotLK (got out of a break near cata) and didn't get a lot of chance to explore the PvP, however I played a decent amount of Cata and thought it was ok. (I liked the rated BG).

If you guys have ay advice on which server seems best for me ;)

Hi and welcome. From what you're asking I can point you to Blackrock. Insta 80, pvp realm, closest to vanila.
