One question I have brewing in my head is : why is "casual" a word that's almost equal to the worst insult? All that means is that somebody who is a casual player cannot, or does not want to, put as much time and effort into the game. It doesn't have anything to do with being worse at the game, if you do believe that, you must have a very sad life, really.
Also : don't get pumped for wotlk's release. Really do not. Early leveling will be an absolute cluster****. I'd even suggest waiting a week or two, until the first rush calms down a bit, and the zones become a bit less crowded. Or just spam early dungeons and level up this way, as somebody else said.
IDK, man.
On the first day of TBC Hellfire was absolutely packed, but I leveled just fine. With the increased respawn rates questing was very easy.
Also keep in mind that in NR players will have 2 starting zones to choose from.
Don't. Unless you want to be corpse camped in Borean by ppl who already got to 80 ;pI'd even suggest waiting a week or two, until the first rush calms down a bit
90% of them will choose Borean anyway, cause it's quicker to get there for the most people who haven't bothered to get Flight Master in Menethin Harbor beforehand :P
Corpsecamped, eh. I've been through it my entire WoW career, and it honestly doesn't bother me. When it happens i just log out and come back.
I don't like doing group content in general, even if I love raiding and lower-end PvE. Especially when leveling, I prefer soloing. Idk why, presence of other people just bothers me somehow :P I've had enough of it going through Redridge and Duskwood's ****. The thought of grouping for even more quests in Northrend, which for me already had a pretty ****ty quest design (aside from Sholazar)... *shivers*
Although I'll enjoy the sight of countless skeletons covering the floor everywhere.
