Alot of people don't like the PvP state atm. They say to wait untill Wotl when paladins will become even more powerfull.
So ok, let's say PvP is a mess, any suggestion on how to fix it? :D
The current pvp is just a burst feast and ret paly is the king of burst dmg. Only high resilience gonna nerf ret palys overpowered dmg.
When they relase Wotlk I have my doubts that ppl gonna survive long enough in deadly gladiator gear.
I think PvP wont be balanced until wrathful or at least relentless gladi gear.

I really think Lordaeron's PvP will be exeptionally bad. Alot of people know that human paladins are easy and powerfull race/class combo, so I expect that horde won't que for RBGs alot, resulting in 20 - 30 min que time for alliance and graveyard camped horde - not enjoyable PvP for both factions.
Arenawise - because of the amount of paladins - and their ability to be immortal ( I remember a dude who was writing : LF Tank/ healer / 3 DPS to kill a hPala, another one outhealing a DPS using instant spells only) - the arenas will take forever to finish. Paladins have free out of jail card ( buble) to use as trinket, so CC will be hard, leaving the team with more DPS victorious, wich will be the team with higher GS, usually.Having paladin in the comp means hard time for double DPS, because they can Hand of Protection their teammate, unless versus spellcasters, wich are quite low anyway.
Duels - There are alot of classes that can counter them so I don't expect alot of paladins to stand around Stormwind / Ogrimmar enterance - it should be fun to duel there, but the expansion is not balanced around dueling. Classes that can't heal themselves will always be underdogs.
World PvP - Again, if you are class that can't heal it will be very difficult to do world PvP since they ALWAYS have Lay on Hands, so you must kill them twice.Good luck doing that :D
The most boring fight is Paladin against Paladin ( some say it can take forever) and I expect alot of this in Lordaeron PvP. I wonder if this "meta" will be changed somehow, but given the time that people need to level I somehow doubt it, people will just stop caring about PvP, exept arenas. Just like retail, by the way :D

I think your experience in WotLK retail was vastly different than mine... <.<
Pallies were strong, sure, but it was pretty much Frost mages that ruled the day in my memories, and there were always plenty of BGs running throughout the expansion.
War/Hpal will always be one of the best 2v2 comps in WOTLK. This comp is easy compared to some others, but why would someone cry about it, it is not their fault that Blizzard designed game this way.
Ret paladins doesnt have a lot of viable comps in 2v2, those viable comps are pretty hard to play, for example Ret/MM, in my opinion is the best comp but extremely hard to play. Pala/RShaman easy, boring, long fights, not top tier, too much counters.
3v3 - this is private server, not much activity, paladins are not facerolling in this bracket, wizzards on the other hand..
5v5 - read above.
Duels - Ret and prot have just as many counters as any other class/spec, I would say middle tier.
Lil suggestion - if you feel that X class have largest class representation or you just hate being crushed by particular class/spec, then roll a counter. Plain and simple.
At low level paladins faceroll but even then they have counters. At high gear paladins are manageable, paladins are noob stampers just because their burst is high and comes instant, you just feel you could not do anything, but thats how it is if you dont have much resilience, after you get a lot resil everything changes.
Gimme 5 best duel classes and specs? Maybe: F mage, Blood dk (all dks actually), Affl lock, MM hunt?
At high gear classes that have heals become even more powerful, because resilience indirectly makes heals stronger. You can't do anything against instant casts. Paladins attack with holy damage witch cannot be countered. Blizz made this awesome spell(?) that cannot be dodged, parried, spell reflected, resisted and what not and they made it hit hard. Most classes must do something before attacking with their good abilities / spells, ret paladins don't care. At high gear there will be more hpaladins than retries. Not much we can do.
True, however there's hardly any good wotlk frost mages left, on the other hand there's a thousand "decent" hpals, wars, eles to make up for that.
Yeah maybe one of the best but the comp is so easy to win against if you have a good counter comp against it like a mana drain comp or CC comp... Than you just either control/pillar hug the warrior and then kill the paladin :P
Lordaeron SHOULD NOT be PvP server. This game is not a PvP game, every little child knows that blizz did not make it PvP game, therefore PvP must be disabled. If masohistic horde wants to que RBG only to be stomped - fine, it's their choice to stay afk in the graveyard. Soon alliance PvP players will get bored and will decide to make Ogrimmar their perma home and laugh at people who try to do something about it. The PvP vendor will be dead most of the time, only people who stay up to 4 AM will be able to buy something with the honor of a 1000 loses. Why would PvP be enabled on a game, that's clearly NOT a PvP game ? /Rantoff
